Mobile Services - Overview
ManagerZone is an interactive game that can be
played not only from the web browser, but you can also access it via your mobile
phone through text messaging and WAP. That way you don't have to miss anything
important even when you are on the road.
We separate our text messaging services by subscription services and interactive
pull services. Below you will find a brief explanation of both. You are are
interested in our WAP-services there is a separate help page for that. Click on
WAP-services in the menu. If you subscribe to our subscription packages you
automatically have access to text messaging.
Subscription
Our text messaging subscription services means
you subscribe to one or more of the services that sends you text messages. That
is you receive a message from that particular service when an event triggers it.
For instance if you subscribe to "match result" you receive a message
stating the score for your games.
Subscribing to the service means you activate it once and keep it until you tell
deactive the service. You can stop at any time.
Interactive text messaging
These interactive services are "pull" services where you send a
message to receive an answer with the information that you want. All the
subscription services can be interactively pulled for information such as score
or training results and more.
In other words you can follow your team no matter where you are. Thanks to the
mobile services you never lose touch with your team. To be able to use the
interactive or subscription services you have to either have money in your
ManagerZone account or subscribe to one of our packages.
How Do I Activate?
It is very simple to activate your mobile services.
Go to the mobile services page under "services". Once you are in there
you see to the right buttons for you to activate one or more of the services
available.
To activate to the following:
1. Make sure you have either your mobile phone
number registered or an email address that goes to your mobile phone. Make sure
that at least one of them is listed in the top right corner of the mobile
services page. If they are shown there then you can go to step two.
2. Make sure you are either subscribing to one of our packages or that you have
money in your account. 3. Click on activate for the service you want to
activate. The icon will change to deactivate once active. Should you not want
the service any more then click deactivate.
Once the service is activated you will receive a text message to your phone
every time your active service registers an event for that particular service.
Subscription Services
Each subscription service is defined as a text
message (SMS) service where you receive information continuously one or more
times a week. Below you find the services you can subscribe to.
Match result
Immediately after a match has been played you will receive the result to your
mobile phone. You never have to wait to know if you won or lost.
League standings
Of course it is interesting to check where you teams position in the league
standings is. By subscribing to this service you will once a week directly after
a league game receive the standings.
Bidding
This service allows you to find out if somebody bid over your current bid. Hurry
to offer more money or let the player go to a different club.
Training report
How was practice? With this service you will receive a text message every time
one of your players receives a new ball in any of his attributes.
Transfer monitor
To know if a player that interests you has been put out on the transferlist -
you subscribe to this service. That means you will receive a text message with
the information about the player so you know if you should bid. You set the
criteria as to what type of player you are looking for.
